With over 1000 square metres of climbing equipment, tricky routes and a wealth of challenges for you to face, Awesome walls, Liverpool's supreme climbing arena, is a great adventure for all the family. Offering something totally unique, the centre, located in a 150 year old church, is a great treat for all the family to enjoy. Providing a safe and comfortable climbing environment, Awesome Walls is one of the leading indoor climbing arenas, and with experienced and friendly staff available, you can enjoy the many joys that this adventure brings.
Awesome Walls is subdivided into 4 main sections and each offer their own unique challenge. Below is a small description of what you are likely to encounter in ecah of the sections as well as the kids courses that are available.
The Crypt- The Crypt is a new addition to the venue with over 250 square metres of climbing facilities. Designed to be challenging and to give even the most intepid adventurer a few prioblems, this is a great treat for everyone. With many bouldering obstacles to overcome, as well as overhangs and slabs, this section of the venue is definately worth a visit.
Top Ropes- This subsection of the arena is again divided into four different sections. Top Roping is ideal for anyone regardless of skill or bravery, with challenges for everyone. The main top roping area contains 16 lines with at least 3 routes on each line. With grades varying in difficulty from British 3 to 6b, there really is something for everyone!
Lead Walls- The Lead wall section contains walls for the novice climber, with vertical walls, and has an AWESOME WALL, ideal for the experienced climber, or for the climbers with the most bottle! The awesome wall overhangs by 8 metres and is a challenge for even the most experienced climber!
Bouldering walls- Again, this subsection is divided into 4 more sections each with new and unique chalenges. This section includes the cave, which has walls of every slant and has many different challenges. The main section is a 45А overhang, ideal for getting you cranking hard!
Little Angels Kids Club The little Angels Kids Club is an ideal way for kids of all ages to meet new friends, and have a safe and relaxing time climbing the walls, unde the guidance of the experienced and qualified staff. If your child is between 8-16 years old, and would like to take part, then bookin is essential so use the contact details at the bottom of the page to book your place now. Held every Mon-Fri at 6pm, and every Saturday and Sunday at 10am, for only £8 kids get the chance of 2 hours climbing under the guidance of the staff, as well as learning something new and different.
