Chessington World of Adventures, located in Surrey just 12 miles from Central London offers something completely different to other theme parks. It boasts a zoo with many species of animal on show including Tigers, Monkeys and Penguins. As well as the zoo, Chessington World of Adventures also offers the excitment and exhilaration of its 26 rides and attractions.
Rameses Revenge- Ready to get soaked? Pinned to your seat with a body hugging shoulder and lap bar you will need to hold on as Rameses spins into action. Enjoy an exhilarating and spectacular ride as this monster of a machine turns you upside down and spins you round and round – only to end up in a deadlock upside down, lowering you head first over water fountains… Definitely not for the faint hearted!
Vampire- Turn to the dark side with a visit to the damp and mysterious Transylvania, where Vampire will take you on a flight of fright with your feet dangling as you shoot as a bat out of hell through the skies and across the treetops. Watch out for the bats!
Family Adventures
From Roger's Dodgems to The runaway train, there is so much for the family to do. Why not try the Bubbleworks workshop or the Tomb Blaster where you, armed with a laser gun, try and eliminate the muumies and scarab beetles that you face in the spooky labyrinth.
Dragon Falls- Take a leisurely boat ride with a difference! Cruise along the winding river with its dips and falls – but beware as this exotic adventure promises a plunging finale!
Dragon Fury- Get propelled along by the rage of the furious dragon’s breath on this spin-tastic rollercoaster that is never the same twice. Go on a thrilling journey of twists and turns, dips and dives – not forgetting spins, spins and more spins! No ride is ever the same – how fast you spin depends on who sits where
Experienced Adventures
As well as catering for the younger families and children, older children are catered for as well. There are many rides and attractions that provide thrill-seekers with a memorable experience including Rameses and Vampire.
Black Buccaneer- Heave ho to the high seas with the Black Buccaneer, the original pirate ship that swings you high up in the sky on a stomach churning, scream-tastic ride to remember! Definitely not one for those scared of heights!

Chessington Zoo
Explore the 'Trail of the Kings' jungle themed animal experience enabling families to get up close and personal with one of Europe's most successful West Lowland Gorilla families and come eye to eye with our two young Sumatran Tigers, and majestic Asiatic Lions and Persian Leopards! All this and much, much more in Chessington Zoo, including the splash-tastic Sea Lion Bay with daily shows, the Penguin Cove with feeding times and our fun Children's Zoo with baby goats, sheep and rabbits. 
The Park also offers talks and live shows that are both informative an fun. Great for kids of all ages, Animal Antics provides you with the experience to get up and personal with macaws and Mojo. Other experiences include, the Children's Zoo, Creepy caves and Penguin Presentation. An education centre is also avaialbe to provide kids with the best lessons outside of the classroom where they can learn quirky and interesting facts about their favourite animals and discover new specices as well.
Eating Facilities
There are plenty of outlets throughout the park for you to eat some lunch or grab a quick snack. There are many stands selling fresh sandwiches, salads and hot daily snacks. A McDonalds is also available along with many hotdog stands. If you fancy something different then Cafe Nero is located in ToyTown and Cadbury Castle.
Family Facilities
Chessington World of Adventures is dedicated to being family orientated and keeping kids of all ages entertained. The Park works in association with the Early Learning Centre to provide children of all ages with a fun and educational experience.
