Blue Planet has so much in terms of family entertainment, you won't know where to begin. With many different attractions to see and many shows to interact with, kids of all ages will enjoy the adventure as you explore the many different kinds of species on offer. Sharks, Octopi, Otters, Frogs, Eels, Catfish and many many more creatures are on show, and with many other activities for kids to do, this is one experience not to be missed!!

Bubblemaker - For children aged between 8-15yrs old who want to add a little adventure to their experience, the Bubblemaker provides a journey to remember.You have the chance to dive with a qualified PADI Diver. Once kitted up in your diving gear, you will enter the pool and the skills session will be begin. Breathing techniques will be practiced before you are lowered to the bottom of the pool. On completion of your skills training there will be an opportunity to play some underwater games. 

Reef Magic’ will educate, amaze and enthuse you. Discover one of nature’s most complex and colourful tropical ecosystems, and raise your awareness of the threats to coral reefs – often called the nurseries of the seas. Blue Planet Aquarium’s tropical river exhibit is designed to represent a branch of the Amazon River, the mighty waterway of the rainforests of South America, with its abundant and exotic freshwater life. At the heart of the aquarium is Aquatunnel, one of the longest underwater tunnels in the world at 70 m long. You’ll be taken on a spectacular underwater safari by a moving walkway and everywhere you look you’ll find amazing tropical fish and awesome sharks staring back at you! 
 

There are many more attractions to see at Blue planet and to ensure that younger children have a great time too, there are facilities designed to add a little extra to their adventure. The Octopus Adventure is a play park that provides hours of fun and enjoyment.

Getting There - Use the Google Map below to help you plan your journey. Blue Planet Aquarium is at junction 10 of the M53 and is easy to find from the M56 and M6. If you're travelling from the M6, join the M56 at J20, then head towards Ellesmere Port and turn onto the M53 at junction15. The nearest station is Ellesmere Port about 2 miles away.
