At Blue Reef there are even octopus that can unscrew jam jars to get at the food inside! Discover all about these 'Einsteins' of the deep' and their close cousins the squid, cuttlefish, nautilus and argonauts in the Amazing Octopus exhibition. Tropical waters are also home to a variety of sharks, including the graceful black tip reef shark, as well as rays, moray eels and lionfish.

Blue Reef has won international acclaim for its pioneering rescue work with stranded sea turtles. Turtle Creek offers a rare glimpse into the bizarre lives of the marine-going turtles' freshwater cousins. Blue Reef has rescued, rehabilitated and released three sea turtles.
