Formula 1 sensation Lewis Hamilton was discovered at Buckmore and many famous names have graced this magnificant track. Other Formala 1 greats including Jenson Button, Anthony Davidson and the now retired Johnny Herbert, have all spent many an hour learning their trade here. You too can have the opportunity to enjoy the unique challenge that this track presents with its many chicanes and long twisting bends, this 1200 metre track is not to be missed!
Arrive 'n' Drive - Racing at Buckmore is split into three categories to ensure safety standards are met, and to provide a fair challenge to everyone involved.
4-7 Years Old: For the little ones, the chance to ride the 6mph electric kart, on a specially designed track marked by inflatable boundaries.
8-11 years Old: For this age category, a chance to ride a 20mph Kart on the North Circuit
12-16 years old: For the teens a chance to ride the teenage Kart, a 40mph kart raced only on the south circuit.
All drivers aged between 8 and 16 receive a safety briefing before they start their session and safety equipment, such as gloves, a helmet and a suit are all provided. racing can last from 15 minutes up to an hour, but each kart offers their perspective drivers a fun and enjoyable time!
Sisley Driving School - As well as the Arrive 'n' Drive detailed above, there is a chance to follow in the footsteps of Lewis Hamilton, as Buckmore presents the Sisley kart School. The Sisley Kart Racing School not only enables budding racing drivers to take their first steps towards stardom, but is also open to anyone who wishes to sample the excitement, exhilaration and pure fun of driving a real racing kart. The school is based at the MSA licensed 1200m international outdoor kart circuit at Buckmore Park in Kent and welcomes both youngsters and adults from ages 8 upwards.
Passanger Rides - For all those budding young drivers who want to taste high octane speeds, but are not yet old enough to do it themsleves, there is an excellent opportiunity to take advantage of the passanger rides. An experienced member of staff will drive you around the track at high speeds, giving you the opportunity to feel the adrenaline and excitement bourne by professional driving, in the comfort and safety of the passanger seat. If you are 8 years old or older, the ride can be taken in the thunderkart, an 80mph 390cc machine which is sure to provide he thrill of a lifetime. younger children experience the fun kart, a side-by-side kart that doesn't travel quite so fast, but it still exhilarating!
Parties - For 4-7 Year Olds, there is a chance to celebrate a birthday at Buckmore. Introduced this year, the package inlcudes use of the inflated track, Fun Races, Birthday Meal, birthday cake and a goody bag, for a great price of only £160. A maximum of 8 children.

Junior Kart Club
In 2004, Buckmore launched the Junior Kart Club, designed for inexperienced racers who are ready to take part in competitive races. Although this is quite as a competitive environment, the challenge is seen as a fun, exhilarating and enjoyable platform to build upon that will hopefully see you emulate the success of the many famous names that have graced this pretiguous track.
The only criteria is that you have completed one session of the Sisley Driving School and all thats left after that is for you to sign up, book a place and turn up. Trophies are awarded to winners of individual races as well as a trophy for the overall winner of the season.
Booking is very simple. Just phone 01634 201562 ext 201 and have your credit/debit card to hand when you call. Remember, places are strictly limited for each race and bookings are taken on a first come, first served basis, so early booking is recommended.
Before racing you will need to join the Buckmore Junior Kart Club. Membership is simply a matter of joining when you first book, paying a membership fee. For the winter Championship this will be £15. (Existing members having paid the fees will be given a £5 loyalty discount). The 2008 membership charge will be £20 for a full calendar year (rather than by championship) and will run from 1st March to 28th Feb the following year. You are now ready to race but remember, places are limited so book early.
