Karting North East

Karting North East boasts a 1200 metre British Championship Circuit, with excellent faciltiies and the latest karts. Great fun for all the family to enjoy with all ages welcome. As well as the chance to drive around the track, Karting North East also has paintballing facilities and anyone over the age of 11 can come and join in!! Finally, there is a chance to try the quad bikes where 8-15 yr olds can race around the enclosed track!

Junior Karting - For 8-15yr olds, KNE has the latest Junior Sodi Karts that cater for juniors of all shapes and sizes. Excellent handling, fast-paced and easy to drive, these karts provide for an adrenaline-fuelled time at one of the countries top tracks. Excellent for novices as well as more experienced drivers and with an induction session showing new drivers the ropes, you will pick it up in no time!!

Induction Sessions - This session enables you to learn from highly qulaified and professional coaches as you are shown how to use the karts and the racing lines to follow. Once you've grasped the basics you put your new found skills to practice as you drive solo round the track. Sessions last approximately 1 hour and cost around £27.

Once you've completed the induction session, you are free to attend arrive and drive sessions where you turn up and have as many laps as you want!!

Junior Championships - The junior race night is a popular event where anyone between the ages of 8 and 15 years old can take part in head to head racing  at Warden Law. Using top of the range junior Sodi karts featuring adjustable steering, pedals and sliding seat for comfort, the aim is to accumulate as many points as possible to reach the "A" final, and the chance of being the overall winner. Quality trophies are awarded each race night to the top three drivers. For more information call 0191 5214 050. Places need to be booked!

Paintballing - Themed scenarios such as World War Trench Warfare or the Wild West are what you are faced with as you have the chance to unleash torment on your enemies in this action-packed activity suited to everyone. A two hour session inclusive of all safety equipment and 100 paintballs is just £15 per person. Additional paintballs for the trigger happy can be purchased at £7 per 100. Quad-Biking - After briefing, juniors get to ride on the new enclosed track which is fully supervised at all times Two 10 minute sessions costs only £17 per person and includes use of overalls, helmets and gloves. This activity is ideal as a Birthday party or just a treat for the youngsters, and is suitable for both small and large groups
