Wessex Raceway
Wessex Raceway is Europe's Premier Indoor racing circuit, with lots to do for all the family to enjoy. From training sessionsfor 8-15 year olds, kids parties and races as well as arrive & Drive sessions.
Junior Arrive & Drive sessions - Junior sessions are seperate from adult sessions and take place at different times. There is no need to book a place for a session, just simply contact the centre for the next available session and turn up! Great fun for kids above the age of 8 as you zoom around the track trying to beat the clock!! It doesn't matter about your level of driving as every is welcome.
If however you are not that experienced or want to improve your driving skills, there are schools that you can take part in that are fun and aim to boost our skills in driving. In the interests of safety all Junior & Teen racers need to attend a training session in order to be assessed. Anyone that has not been graded will be unable to participate in events and Arrive & Drive sessions.
Each karter will learn kart control at speed, picking the right racing line, pit lane training, rules and regulations. Contact the centre for more details.
Kids Parties - Why not spend your birthday speeding around the track with firends and family, enjoying an adrenaline fuelled time! Fun and excitement for all and with different packages to choose from, everyone is catered for. Parties can be arranged for Junior (8-12) and Teens (13-15) on Tuesdays - Fridays between 4:30pm - 5:45pm. Enjoy 30 minutes on the track with each party lasting 90 minutes. Racing - Wessex Raceway now offers regular Junior & Teen racing during the major school holiday breaks. Having attained Intermediate grading during the training sessions drivers now have even more opportunity to test their new found skills against drivers of the same age. Advanced booking is advisable - just call or email the centre using the details below.
Membership - Membership includes a photo ID card and provides you with big savings on Arrive & Drive and Junior Arrive & Drive open practice sessions. Prices for membership is as follows:
Adults (16+) £30 per year Teen (13 - 15) £25 per year Junior (8 - 12) £20 per year
Prices - Memberships are available at £20 for a Junior and £25 for a teenager, with memberships lasting 1 year. The Arrive & Drive sessions are given below
