The Dome

The Dome in Doncaster has a welath of family entertainment for children of all ages to enjoy. A range of sporting activities are on offer for all ages to enjoy and with so many to do, you will be entertained for hours. Swimming, Ice Skating, basketball, 5-a-side football, volleyball, netball, badminton, Tennis, squash, racquetball as well as lessons are available.

The Lagoons - Whether it's a relaxing swim, an adventure into the aquatic wonder water world that is the Amazonia Adventure. With 7 magnificant pools, Children's jungle frame, interactive flumes, outdoor water rapids and Water falls, there is so much to do and see at The Lagoons with fun for all the family. Lessons are also available for both children and adults who lack confidence in the water and lessons are taught by qualified and experienced instructors. Ice Caps - Unsuprisingly, standing and moving around on thin pieces of metal on slippery Ice doesn't come naturally to everyone! That's why at The Dome the team have put together an instruction programme that will be sure to get any child skating confidently in no time. With both intense crash courses as well as less intense longer courses available, there's a course to suit you! For more information regarding lessons click here. Dry Sports - Split into three large courts, the multi purpose sports hall is specially designed for a whole host of ball sports. 12 courts are available for various racquet sports. These ara available for 55 minute periods, with equipment available for , badminton, short tennis and table tennis. Three, full size, glass backed squash courts are available for hire. Hire is priced per 40 minute sessions.

Getting There - The Dome is conveniently located just minutes from the M18 (J3) and A1(m) (J36) motorways. With over 600 free car parking spaces as well as coach parking, there's never a problem finding a space. For more information, click here

The Ridge - Combining the excitement of extreme sports with a safe and controlled environment, the climbing wall known as The Ridge, provides the perfect environment for climbers of all ages and abilities. A children's climbing session held every Tuesday (7-11yrs) and Thursday (11-15yrs) between 5pm and 7pm. For all abilities, especially those who are working towards their D of E.

With over 1 million visitors every year and 52 different activities to take part in, The Dome is now one of the UK's top 5 Sports and Leisure attractions. The Dome has excellent dance facilities and runs many classes catering for different styles for children of all ages. The studios are the perfect venue for martial arts, Jazz Funk and Soul, as well as Dance classes.
