Bailey balloons have two main launch sites in England, one being Bristol, and the other being the ballooning capital of the world in Bath. With panaramic views that are taken in from a luxury flight with landscapes incorporating the beautiful scenes below, this is a truly amazing expereince not to be missed and is great fun for all the family. Bailey Balloons is a family run business which adds the personal touch involved in your experience. Jo and Clive run the business solely and aim to make your flight as memorable as possible, with much more than just the flight involved. There are pre-flight preparations and afterwards as well
The Flight - The flight itself lasts for on average 1 hour, but the whole experience including preparations, will last for about three hours. Flights are usually made one hour after sunrise and three hours before sunset, when weather conditions are at best to ensure your flight is as comfortable as possible. These times are not certain and will be confirmed when you book your flight.
Locations - In England, there are 3 main launch sites.
Bristol Balloon rides offers you the chance to view the harbourside of Bristol as well as take in the majestic view of the Clifton Suspension Bridge designed by Brunel! Also experience a glorious view of the cathedral and its beautiful surroundings as well as Temple Meads
Thornbury - One of the launch sites in Thornby is the legendary Thornby Castle which is now a 26 room luxury hotel. This sits in the valley of the Severn River and the flight also takes in the sites of Chew Valley, Galstonbury and Wells Cathedral.
Bath - The Georgain city of Bath is the final place in England where Bailey's fly from. Embark on a journey over the Somerset countryside with a chance to see the Avon Canal that runs through the heart of the city. Take in some of the old towns that the city has to offer including Lacock, Castle Coombe and the market town of Bradford-on-Avon.
