AvonSki, is an all action centre, located in Avon near Bristol. A great day of family fun is to be had at one of the country's leading ski centres. Not only does it offer the facilities to ski, and snowboard, but many other activities are available, all intended for children of all ages, and to provide an enjoyable experience for all the family. With top class facilities, qualified and professional staff, and a range of activities that will appeal to everyone, this is a must for anyone!!
Skateboarding- Boasting a fully fledged indoor halfpipe, anyone is welcome to come and skate for just £3 an hour. This activity is unsupervised and although safety equipment is provided, it can be quite dangerous, so beginners are not recommended. Skateboards are not provided.
Skiing - If you have never tried skiing before, this is something not to be missed. Lessons are available for beginners and the range of lessons are detailed below. However, if you want to come along and try your skills on the slopes, you are more than welcome. Suited for everyone, this is a real family treat!! Prices for juniors (under 16) are £11 for 1 hr or £15.50 for 2 hours. Adults are £12 for 1hr and £18 for 2hrs.
Snowboarding- Even if you are not an experienced snowboarder, AvonSki offer a range of lessons designed to help you broaden your skills. However, if you are an experienced snowboarder, AvonSki has many top quality tracks for you to test your skills on. A 165 metre dry slope complete with bends and twists that are designed to test even the most stringent skaters, will provide hours of fun and enjoyment. Prices for juniors (under 16) are £11 for 1 hr or £15.50 for 2 hours. Adults are £12 for 1hr and £18 for 2hrs.
Quad Biking- Open to anyone over the age of 7, Quad-biking is a fun and exciting activity that is sure to get the adrenaline pumping. An exhilarating ride is provided by the latest equipment and the very best facilities. A purpose built track awaits as you enter the arena and try and out do your opponents and win the race!! Prices for 10 minutes is £9, 20 minutes is £18 and 30 minutes is £27.
Archery- Hand-Eye co-ordination is essential as you take aim and fire at numerous targets designed to test your accuracy to the full. Expert tuition by qualified staff help you along with the basics and they are always on hand to provide hints and tips as to what to do! Taboggoning- This activity is one for the younger children aged from 4-12 years old. For just £4.95 an hour, children can enjoy the slopes and as this activity is popular, pre-booking is essential. Children must wear gloves, long trousers and a long shirt to help avoid injury.
Many other activities are on offer at AvonSki including Mountain-Boarding, Power-Kiting, Abseiling and Clay Pigeon Shooting.
Action Days are an excellent way to experience a number of activites at a great price. Available during every weekend from easter until October, and then through school holidays, Action Days are organised in session leaving you plenty flexibility to decide what you want to do. You do not need to be expereinced in any activity as expert tuition is on hand to guide you through and make your experience as enjoyable as possible!The centre is the perfect place for the whole family to have fun. Everyone over 8 years of age can join in on a multi-activity package - or if there are 5 or more of you, AvonSki will schedule one just for you. If some members of the family prefer something less energetic then why not take a stroll along the many footpaths and wander through the woods while everyone else participates in their chosen activity.

| From junction 21 of the M5 follow signs to Banwell. In the centre of Banwell take a left turn signed Bath, Cheddar, A368 and Avon Ski Centre. Follow this road through Sandford for 3 miles until you see the Avon Ski & Action Centre sign on the right.
