Hell Fire Caves

On entering the Caves, long winding passages lead deep underground for over half a mile, through the great Banqueting Hall and past various chambers. In these you will find scenes with various members of the Hellfire Club. The final destination is the Inner Temple which is reached by crossing the River Styx. You are now several hundred feet below the Church on top of the hill.

For generations, the caves have been popular with children off all ages and provided an adventure to remember. With so much to see and do, the whole family is gauranteed to have a great time! The caves are full of statues and artefacts for you top discover and each section that you travel through brings with it new adventures.

Travel through the caves, starting at the Stewards Cave, on through to the Paul Whitehead Cave and then down to the Numerakls XXII Section. Discover the historic markings that line the walls throughout these sections and discover the Paul Whitehead statue dedicated to the famous poet who to this very day is said to haunt the caves!

The River Styx is called after the legendary river, which divided this world from the underworld. The souls of the dead were said to be ferried across the river by legendary boatman, Charon.
