A typical arena is a outdoors, usually in woodlands with various arenas for different scenarios. Two teams battle each other with elimination the aim of the game. 

Some variations give teams the opportunity to fulfil tasks such as retrieving a object or to defend a stronghold. Other examples include role=playing scenarios where you are tasked with the objective of rescuing someone from behind enemy lines. Paintballs travel at up to 300 feet per second and they are made from a non-toxic substance and is perfectly safe provided you wear the protective gear at all times. Getting struck can be painful and may leave a mark, but this adds to the fun and intensity of the challenge!

Most arenas povide eating faciliities and specially arranged games can be booked in advance to add to the excitement and thrill of the day. It is a great birthday treat with birthday packages available at most centres offering great deals on paintballs and admission fees. 

Paintballing is a fun-packed, adrenaline filled activity that provides excitement and enjoyment for all. Under English regulations, the minimum age for a child to join in is 11 years old with some centres requiring children to be at least 12yrs and in full-time secondary education. All centres listed beow offer paintballing facilities with some offering lunches for a small charge. Also, some centres offer a twist to the usual paintablling packages, including the use of Lasers instead of paintballs.
