Gt Yarmouth SEA LIFE brings you closer than you ever imagine to some of the most amazing marine creatures on the planet. Great family fun is to be had as you explore and learn about the many types of creature on offer and how they live and survive in the oceans. Come face to face with some of the most majestic creatures including starfish and sea horses as well as some terryfying ones as well!
Dare you enter the exciting new feature, Pirate Cove, and search for your very own pirate treasure? But beware, it's closely guarded by venomous lionfish, moray eels and jellyfish as well as some fearsome Pirates - you could end up walking the plank!
Great Yarmouth SEA LIFE Centre is in the grip of a seahorse baby boom...with more than 250 born in the space of a week. The majority, well over 200, were born in two separate batches two days apart to two different adult male yellow seahorses Hippocampus kuda. These happy events followed just days after the birth of around 45 baby Australian big-bellied seahorses Hippocampus abdominalis. The three deliveries in quick succession represent the first major successes for the Centre's ‘Seahorse Breeding & Conservation Unit' since August 2005.
Kids Parties - Great Yarmouth SEA LIFE centre is the perfect place to celebrate your birthday! For children aged between 4-10 years SEA LIFE offer:-
- Your very own SEA LIFE host to guide you around the fantastic displays, including a visit to the touchpool
- Choice of hot food or cold buffet with a dessert and cold drink
- A themed birthday cake brought to the table by Shakey Shark
- Time to let off steam in the soft play area
- Party bag for each child
- Explorers Pass for the birthday child (one year's free entry)
Birthday party bookings are for a minimum of 10 children. £10.95 per child or £9.95 per child if there are 15 or more children. 1 adult free with every 5 children, additional adults charged at half price. Please call for more details and to book your party!
Opening Times - Open every day from 10am to 5pm except for Christmas Day when SEA LIFE is closed
Getting There - Follow the A47 from Norwich into Gt Yarmouth then follow brown tourist signs to SEA LIFE or follow A12 from Lowestoft into Gt Yarmouth and then follow brown tourist signs to SEA LIFE.
