Rob Barber's BodyBoarding School

Rob Barber's BodyBoarder School, is a part of the English Surfing Federation Surf School and is the only one of it's kind in the UK. The school offers fun and enjoyable lessons in the South West of the country, in both Devon and Cornwall. Lessons are normally held on the Fistral Beach, Newquay, which is only a short walk from the town centre.

Rob Barber's school offers lessons for people of all ages and the only criteria is that you can swim. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult, but apart from that there are no barriers and it doesn't matter if you are a novice or a seasoned professional, the school caters for all.

Lessons are carried out in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere with the emphasis on you enjoying yourself as opposed to a pressurised environment. Every step of the way, you are helped by the best coaches in the country, with vast experience between them. Rob himself is the main coach along with Lisa Bartlett and Aidan Salmon.

Primarily, the school is a surfing school, but combination courses combining both surfing and bodyboarding are available at great prices! Safety is of paramount aim to the team and they are awarded with the highest level safety requirements in the country - so you know you are in safe hands! Not only are the coaches vastly experienced, with nearly 50 years surfing experience between them, they are intent on making sure you have the best time possible, so if you've never tried bodyboarding before, be sure to give it a try now!
